Dr. ARFA RASOOL KHAN

Dr. Arfa Rasool Khan is Professor Emeritus Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell and former Chief of Thoracic Radiology at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. She retired in Jan 2018 after a distinguished 50-year career at Long Island Jewish hospital. She is a founding member of the Islamic Center of Long Island (ICLI) and one of the founders of the dialogue group called AMJID (American Muslims and Jews in Dialogue) which was established in 1992 and over the years developed into a national model for interfaith dialogue. Arfa Khan has presented Islamic perspectives on Islam in general and Muslim women in particular at many houses of worship.
